I have my BS in Social Sciences which led me into teaching Latin American and African Political Science and English, followed by my MSW where I did counseling for Federation Family Services. I then moved into the Beauty Industry as a business owner and have remained for 35 years! This industry is so creative and intriguing!

I began La Papillion Salon in Cherry Hill, NJ with 2 employees and left the company with 135. After which, I started Salon l’Etoile in Elkins Park with Mel Silverman, who I am still a partner with at both our Jenkintown and Manayunk locations.

I put my staff and our clients first. I feel that we are all in a partnership together; as business owners with our staff and with our clients. That is what I think has truly made us successful. I am proud of my accomplishments and love being surrounded by such talented and wonderful people each day!
